    The Eco-Friendly Option

    Using these lovely beeswax-coated sheets is the way to go for eliminating plastic wrap waste. (Leanwind Beeswax Food Wraps | 3 Pack Reusable and Eco-Friendly Organic Bees Wax Paper in Orange Slice Fruit Pattern | Sustainable Wrap for Kitchen Organization and Storage of Meals). This is a great idea and using these wraps has become more and more commonplace as people get introduced to them and use these wraps for themselves.

    These do require a little more thought and elbow grease than using a simple cling film. You need to leave space for these wraps to be able to fold into one another (adhere when the sides are pressed together). And you will also need to clean them (using cold water). But on balance, this is a much healthier option. This set comes with different sizes and they are not inexpensive. This would make a great gift as well as it's something some people wouldn't think of buying but then once they start using these wraps they love 'em. I still use a combination of wraps and cling film in my household, but I do feel better for using these wraps when I can.

    They Work Just As Promised

    I’ve never before tried Beeswax Food Wraps, but they seem like a nice option (in certain cases) instead of plastic wrap. No, they don’t seal as tightly and are not as convenient because you have to store and wash them with a bit more care, but in the long run they are eco-friendly and cost-effective.

    I like using mine to wrap cheese in, and also to cover bowls or plates of leftovers before going into the fridge.

    Overall I’m happy with this first-time try, and look forward to finding new uses for my beeswax wraps.
